Many students possess innovative and entrepreneurial ideas that often remain unrealized due to the absence of proper guidance, support, and ecosystem. To address this, Government women’s polytechnic College Kaimanam, has established an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) on its campus with the support of Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM).

The objective of IEDC is to foster innovation and accelerate the successful development of entrepreneurial ventures by providing a supportive platform enriched with resources, mentoring, and business development services. The centre nurtures an entrepreneurial culture among girl students, motivating them to transform problems into ideas and ideas into impactful solutions.

IEDC also focuses on creating awareness among faculty members about entrepreneurship as a viable career option, empowering them to guide and mentor students effectively. With the strong backing of KSUM, IEDC serves as a catalyst to groom young innovators into successful entrepreneurs and contribute to the state’s vibrant startup ecosystem.
